The restoration started on April 2021, managed by my friend Michele with his team - the restoration involves:
removing the damaged external plaster and reconstruction
remaking of the insulation against humidity at the base of the walls
restoration of three ceiling beams
laying of the new floor tiles ( porcelain stoneware, laid on the existing ones)
wall grouting and repainting
removing of the bathroom tiles and laying of the new ones
replacement of sanitary ware
The exterior was in poor condition, with no routine maintenance for years.
The damaged parts of the plaster was removed and replaced by the new one.
The smaller room (on the right side of the building) was the one in the worst condition.
A bad restoration of the ceiling caused the damage of three beams, with the risk of remaking all the the roof - luckily the damage was not fatal and the beams was restored. There were also a lot of humidity on the wall due to the infiltration from the roof and the floor.
